Writing Club: Day 2
This is the Writing Club, a place where everyone can write an essay about a topic that will change daily. You can write about what you want and feel.

The topic of today is about how you make you favorite dish

This is not a competition, mistakes are welcome here.

My essay:
My favorite dish is brigadeiro, it is a sweet make in Brazil, that only need three ingredients:
1 Can of condensed milk;
1 Tablespoon of butter;
2 Tablespoon of cocoa powder.
Put everything in a pan and cook, stirring constantly until it thickens, then you turn off the fire and let it cool down. You can make little balls or eat from the pan.

When I am hungry my favorite dish is everything some time it is inedible like fingernails or nuts between teeth from another dinner. Seriously my favorite dish is sushi, this is not because in Ukraine we have not our traditional food, but this so fat  I can not eat this.

I love this idea! Can I use it to write in French, as well as English? I'm an English speaker, learning French.

I love all sorts of foods, but I want to share one of my favourite Jamaican dishes. It's our national dish, ackee and saltfish.

Ackee has a toxin in parts of it, so it's important that the ackee is picked from the tree after opening naturally. It is only after the fruit has ripened to this extent that the yellow portion no longer has the toxin in it. Jamaicans also remove the thin, red pit that is found between the two yellow portions. It is believed that this part also contains the toxin, but I cannot find anything on the internet talking about this. Anyway, after properly removing the seed and cleaning the inside of the yellow part of the fruit (that is, removing the red part), the ackee can be washed with fresh water, and boiled until moderately soft. The saltfish should be boiled separately, or soaked in cold water, to remove some of the saltiness. Once the saltfish is cool enough, it can be flaked and then fried together with some seasoning (onion, scotch bonnet pepper, sweet pepper, and tomato). The boiled ackee can then be added  to the frying pan and everything mixed together. Add some black pepper and tada!! Ackee and saltfish. It is great with breadfruit (roasted or fried), dumpling (boiled or fried), boiled green bananas, plaintains (fried or boiled) and boiled yam.

It's sad but I think I will have to do the French much later today, after work :( Talking about ackee and saltfish made me want some too!
