We call green tea "緑茶(ryokucha)". orange オレンジ(orenji)/オレンジ色(orenjiiro)/橙/だいだい(daidai)/橙色/だいだい色, オレンジ色の(orenjiiro no)/橙色の(daidaiiro no)/だいだいいろの "オレンジ/オレンジ色" and "オレンジ色/オレンジ色の" are used recently in general. We use to call orange 橙/だいだい(noun), 橙色の/だいだい色の(adjective) in general. The older generation may call them so even now. pink ピンク(pinku)/ピンク色(pinkuiro)/桃(momo)/桃色(momoiro), ピンク色の(pinkuiro no)/桃色の(momoiro no) "ピンク/ピンク色" and "ピンク色/ピンク色の" are used recently in general. We use to call pink 桃色(noun), 桃色の(adjective) in general. The older generation may call them so even now. Yellow 黄(ki)/黄色(kiiro), 黄色い(kiroi)/黄色の(kiiro no) A yolk is called "黄身(kimi)"/ 卵黄(ranou). You know, "卵" means "egg". ”卵” is read as ”Tamago/ran". And the white of an egg/the albumen is called "白身(shiromi)". Also we call it 卵白(ranpaku). gray グレー(gure-)/ねずみ色(nezumiiro),グレーの(gure- no)/ねずみ色の(nezumiiro no). "グレー, グレーの" is used in general recently. "ねずみ色, ねずみ色の" may be used by older generation even now. gold 金(kin)/金色(giniro), 金の(kin no)/金色の(kiniro no) You know "金" means not only "one of color" but also "one of substance". So you had better add "iro" to "kin"as color. silver 銀(gin)/銀色(giniro), 銀の(gin no)/銀色の(giniro no) Also please add "iro" to "gin" like "kin" as well.
