Speech Topic: Learn to walk before you run Good evening，My dear Teachers，fellow students and friends ,It is great honor for me to be here, and to have this opportunity to make a speech with all of you. My topic for today’s prepared speech is Learn to walk before you run. Learn to walk before you run, which meaning that we have to be patient when learning. Babies crawl before they walk, and children walk before they run, Knowledge cannot be all acquired at once; it must be gained step by step. Don’t try to spell ‘comfortable’ if you cannot spell ‘able’! Start with the basics before you move on to the difficult stuff. However, people say that, in today's rapidly-developing society, life is like a race. The whole world is moving so fast, and there’s hardly any time to walk anymore, and the ones that run the fastest are supposed to be the one who grow the biggest, and get the best treat. Meanwhile, the ones that run the fastest are also the ones that might take the biggest tumbles. Thus, life is not a race, but a gradual journey to be enjoyed slowly each step of the way. To sum up, we promising young people are aspire to bring about a great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, we are supposed to be devoted our limited life to the endless cause of serving the people. And believe that a little at a time eventually makes a big difference!
