What's the difference between 'whoever' and 'whichever'?
I learned these words can refer to a person, but I can't tell the difference.
In what situation should I use whoever and whichever?

It is similar to who or which as connectors.
Whoever is the smarter may be awarded a scholarship to study classics .
These fruits, mangoes and oranges, are very sweet and whichever you choose will satisfy you.

As pronouns the difference between whoever and whichever
is that whoever is whatever person or persons or whoever can be while whichever is any one or a number of a group.
