"Sorry" in Swedish? The only way I know of to say "sorry" in Swedish is "Jag är ledsen," and I was just wondering if there was another, possibly shorter way, such as just saying "Sorry" in English as

Yes, you can say "Förlåt". However, for smaller things a lot of people actually say "sorry". Especially younger people. "Förlåt (mig)" = "Forgive me". "Ursäkta (mig)" = "excuse me". "Förlåt" sounds like "flåt" when pronounced quickly.
