"Je me suis trompe" versus "J'ai eu tort"? (with an accent on the e in trompe) What is the difference? They both mean "I was wrong", correct?

"Je me suis trompé" means "I made a mistake." "J'ai eu tort" means "I was wrong." So, yes, at the end of the day, both mean "I was wrong" since making a mistake implies "I was wrong."
