When and how often do you use the word 'Domo' in Japanese?

"Doomo" is another way to say thank you. You can use the word alone or "doomo arigatoo" So, you can use it frequently. You can also add "doomo" to the word "sumimasen" to make apologies "doomo sumimasen".

I know that textbooks teach "domo" but when you write it in hiragana, you have to write "doumo". By the way, doumo is used many times in Japan. The basic use is for "doumo arigatou" and "doumo sumimasen" as Aracely already answered. However, It's a bit difficult to explain and I think sometimes it can't be translated in other languages.
