Is there any keyboard shorcut to switch between Chinese and English? I know that ( MIcrosoft key+ space) allows you to change the language but when you donwload the Chinese keyboard it comes with English and I always have to change it by clicking on it. So ,in other words, I have 2 English keyboards so to speak. I want to be able to switch just between the Chinese characters and the English witch came with the Chinese package.I finally found it ,you just need to press ctrl

For a quick switch, you can just single click SHIFT key once. SHIFT key could toggle English/Chinese input in many popular Chinese IME software. Also, in Windows platform, Alt-Shift could circle all languages you installed.

I haven't tried this, but in theory, if you open Language Preferences, you can set up as many "languages" as you like. Each of these "languages" that you define will become an option in the bottom right menu, which you can switch between using Windows-Space shortcut. But you can edit and redefine each of the "languages" options. I'm thinking maybe you can add Chinese twice, so that you have three or more "languages" in total, e.g. : English, Chinese and another Chinese, where the second Chinese option you change the options, so that it has the different settings applied. That way you can switch between each of the "languages", each with it's own different options applied, quickly and easily. Does that kind of make sense? I might be misunderstanding your question but hopefully this helps in some way :)
