sorry boys/girls.....flipante comes from the word flip in english and it is drug users slang of the 70's. It was used mainly by acid and pot users to show the stuff was big quality or that they were having a high trip. Nowadays is in disuse although some may use it for fun..but not in "normal" settings, without knowing too much what they are saying. New generation drug users use other words, but as i belong to an older generation i can't help you to give an actualised synonim, for new drugs are different.

En España: "Flipar" significaba "estar drogado". Un sinónimo es "alucinar" = tener alucinaciones. Más tarde, "yo flipo" quiso decir entre los niños y los jóvenes "es increíble" o "me gusta mucho". Una variante es "yo flipo en colores" o "alucino en colores" "Flipante" o "alucinante" quiere decir "que hace flipar o alucinar", igual que "cantante" significa "que canta". Sólamente los niños y los jóvenes usan "flipante", y siempre para referirse a algo que les gusta. "Este videojuego es flipante" o "Internet es alucinante"
