In the UK, the Terms ‘NICE’ and ‘LOVELY’ are often used to describe pleasant tasting food..
“A Lovely cafe with nice tea and cake”
In America, it’s more likely to be used to connote an elegant, or expensive food..
or in talking about a specific Flavor:
“That Spiciness is really nice, it adds a little kick.."
