hhhhaha...yeh, highlighting :) as in word-editing Excuse me for that, I didn't quite get what you mean at the beginning Well sure, I find it much easier to highlight using the "shift" 1. You place the cursor before the first letter in the paragraph or the sentence you want to highlight "most probably to the far right of the page" 2. While pressing "shift", click on the "left arrow" on your keyboard. T Highlighting Arabic words using the cursor can be a bit tricky, but you can kinda get the hang of it with a little bit of practice. so yeh :) Good luck with learning!

Hello Phil What do you mean by that? Do you mean you can't differentiate between the words written in Arabic from those in English for instance? I think the difference in the writing format is clear. Arabic is written from right to left. The letters take different shapes according to their position in the word "whether at the beginning, middle, or end". Or maybe you mean, you can't remember the words. I think that goes for any language. I find it easier for myself when learning a new language, to use flashcards..always help! On one side you can put the english translation and on the other the Arabic word for it and whether it is masculine or feminine. It might also help if you listen a lot or watch Arabic movies or even better, get involved in an Arabic conversation, even if it is very simple, but I guess at the end things will look pretty much straightforward.
