I have more than 10 years of tutoring and teaching experience and work as a full-time teacher. I will adapt the lessons to your needs and will create a relaxed atmosphere so we will have fun getting to know the German language better every time we speak. I know what it is like to be a "student" / language learner, since I am always setting myself new challenges as well.

What differentiates me from others is most certainly my way of using short listenings to improve students´ speaking skills and grammar. My method is not in the top five. However, watching students struggling made me rethink traditional methods. Experience has proven this method to be very successful. Was mich von anderen unterscheidet, ist sicherlich meine Art und Weise, kurze Hörproben zur Verbesserung der Sprechfähigkeiten und der Grammatik der Schülerinnen und Schüler einzusetzen. Meine Methode ist nicht unter den ersten fünf. Doch die Tatsache, dass ich Studenten beobachtete, wie sie sich abmühten, veranlasste mich dazu, traditionelle Methoden zu überdenken.

Learning a new language is pretty cool and almost like getting a superpower. But I know from experience how scary it can sometimes be to talk in a foreign language. More often than not, people give up because they don't want to embarrass themselves by making a mistake. Which is a shame. Because mistakes are great. They show us where we can still improve. So, I'm here to tell you to never give up! It's worth to put in some effort even if it means to stumble along the way. Over time, you'll appreciate how far you've come.

If you are advanced, we will expand your vocabulary by talking about things that interest you or by reading and discussing newspaper articles together. If you want to pass an exam, we will prepare you by doing practice exams together that are exactly like the real thing. Learning German in this way needn't be as difficult or annoying as you may imagine or have experienced in the past. It can – and should – be an enjoyable luxury that you are motivated to indulge in regularly.
