My name is Lorena and I'm a Spanish professor. I have a B.A. in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language from University of Guanajuato. I really enjoy hiking, animals and nature. I enjoy talking about history, culture and current events, but I can talk about anything you want! Lorena is an incredible tutor. Through our weekly meetings, my comfort and enjoyment speaking Spanish has grown exponentially. My initial goal was to become more fluent in conversation so I could serve Spanish-speaking patients. Lorena challenges me during sessions to use more complex grammatical concepts and vocabulary, but somehow our meetings feel relaxed. She has a breadth of knowledge in a diverse range of topics, so I can practice terms related to my profession, but also chat about personal life, politics, literature, and pets. Learning with Lorena has been the best investment I've made the past year.
