今日のレッスンはありがとうミカ〜 It was fun talking in Japanese about sports training and martial arts today. I haven’t thought about some of those old hobbies in a while. Training like Goku sounds like fun. Lol. お疲れ〜

Mika-san, we had a great class just now. Today we mostly talked about schools and a little bit about religion, its history and meaning. The class was very useful - I learned quite a bit new information about many things. Thank you for making this class so educational, I'm looking forward to our next class.

Today’s lesson with Mikaさん highlighted something I take for granted - the balance of conversation. Mikaさん is a great listener and allows me to speak without interruption. I notice that she often pauses after she says something so that I can continue if I want to. But there’s also a great balance in the conversation so that I can listen to her stories (which are interesting and engaging btw) and practice my listening. This is an ideal way for me to learn Japanese because I can listen to interesting stories while also having the support of Mikaさん to quickly learn new words.

今日のレッスンは計画通りじゃなかったけど、みか先生が色々悩み事話せてくれて感謝しています。文化交流するのはitalkiの美点でもあるので、それをしながら勉強続けましょう。いつもありがとうございます！

Thanks for today’s lesson Mika! Today we talked about summer things as well as some island life topics. I also got to practice some grammar points I'm still not able to use so easily yet in conversation. And as always, the time just flew by again. また次回、お疲れ〜
