Julian Business

Over the past four months, Julian helped me prepare for my interview with one of the biggest airlines in the world. At the same time, I had an ICAO English exam that I needed to pass in order to keep my piloting licence. Julian was able to successfully assist me with both the exam and the interview. My exam results were better than 3 years before and I also successfully passed every round of the interviews and now I will be working for a company that I have dreamed of working for since I have been a child! This is a dream come true for me and my family. Julian is an organised and effective tutor. He is always well prepared for every class and is able to offer effective strategies to answer each interview question. I have continued to have classes with him after the interview because I want to continuously improve my English level. Highly recommended.

Julian is a nice，friendly and professional teacher who will definitely help you improve english speaking. I have been having English lessons with Julian for the past few months. I work in the retail industry in China and was recently promoted .My improved level of English, as a result of Julian's teaching, helped me get this promotion and will also help me to communicate effectively in my new position. LONG VERSION (short vs. below, if you are bored If you were always on the lookout for a teacher who would devise your lessons based on what you personally can benefit from, and not according to some rigid general plan - then Julian is your guy. His approach is journalistic in a forgotten good sense: Julian listens a lot, and he listens actively. With him, you will have an actual conversation. It means (and also applies to conversation between native speakers) that your language skills are still important, but secondary to the thoughts you actually want to convey through your indistinct mumbling :) This, in turn, means that you both will always talk about things which matter to you both (in the worst case - just to you). If grammar is what you NEED, then grammar it shall be, but it will be the grammar that YOU need, and not some rule that happens to be next in line in a grammar book. SHORT VERSION Julian is your guy, if you want to be eventually able to actually talk to a real person.

I met Julian over a year ago and had over 50 classes with him already. I can say he is the best English teacher on Italki I have ever met. He did fantastic job at each class and he is willing to work with you for your unique needs during your language leaning journey.
