もう40回くらいレッスンをして頂きました。マルコさんは私にとって唯一無二の先生です。まず、ポルトガル語初中級レベルの私には、マルコさんが日本語と英語が話せるというところが大きいです。レッスン中はポルトガル語のみで指導してくれますが、どうしてもわからないところは日本語か英語で質問及び回答を頂けるので、理解できないままレッスンが終わることはありません。 次に、とにかく辛抱強く、いつも落ち着いて私のつたないポルトガル語に付き合ってくれます。言いたいことが言えなくて止まってしまっても、私が諦めるまでずっと待ってくれます　笑　そして最後に正しい言い方を教えてくれます。また、仕事でポルトガル語を使うので、大事な仕事の直前には長時間のレッスンを朝晩何日も連続でレッスンをお願いしましたが、一緒に仕事に臨んでくれるかのように忍耐強く毎日毎日付き合ってくれました。おかげで先週の大きな仕事も何とか問題なく終わりました。マルコさんがいなかったら無理でした。 今後もポルトガル語を使った仕事が続くのでお世話になります。この場を借りてお礼申し上げます。

Great Japanese teacher. Understands the perspective of a Japanese learner, and give more relevant advice than a native wouldn't be able to give. Marco knows many Japanese learners as well as their unique journies they have taken, and is able to give second-hand advice to a wide range of learners. For my particular lessons, I wanted to drive my own learnings, and decided to go with infrequent check-ins to do reviews, in-depth explanations, as well as advice on possible things to work accompanied by resources and methods to do (practice listening, using these sites and plugins, vary usage of subtitles and amount of replays). One final thing I would like to touch on, for any english-speakers who are afraid of difficulty communicating, that is not an issue. For the longest time, I believed Marco was a native English speaker, and I still doubt his claims that he isn't one.

I can take his classe without being nervous and ask many questions as Marco is always calm. Furthermore,he has an enormous amount of knowledge.

Despite my slow reading speed and my continued pronunciation mistakes, we're slowly working our way through the basic structure of the language. Thanks to Marco's thorough explanations, I'm able to make connections that help me understand the structures/particles.
