Kate English&Russian

I have been studying English with Ekaterina for about a year and I plan to continue. Ekaterina is a very experienced teacher, energetic, positive and open person. The time of her lessons flies by with a lot of communications, discussion of current topics and leaning new useful phrases and words. She is a teacher with an individual approach, which is based on her extensive experience and includes many examples, associations for better assimilation of new words and phrases, interesting articles and short movies. Whether I am tired or not, in a good or bad mood, I always go to my lesson and understand that I do not need to worry about how my lesson will go. I just need to turn on my laptop, enter the classroom, and everything will be fine:)

I have had Kate for two lessons so far, and I have enjoyed it very much. She is an excellent conversationalist, which allows me to develop both my spoken Russian and comprehension. She is patient, articulate and in my opinion strikes the right balance between gentle correcting of mistaken word-ending (a particular weakness of mine), but also letting the conversation flow. She is a natural teacher. I'm looking forward to more lessons with her. Its like a relaxing diversion rather than work. Our hour together flies by in no time.

Kate is an awesome, cheerful, and skilled teacher. Her classes are interesting and useful. One more thing which I like is a lot of homework with funny activities, and a lot of oral tasks, which improve my speaking. So I like Kate's approach and she helps me learn English faster. I tried 3 or 4 teachers before finding Kate, So I highly recommend for everybody Kate's lessons.

Kate is excellent. I have now been using her for the past nine months, so I can speak more in depth from the last review. What is clear is that an hour is not nearly enough time. She is an excellent conversationalist. I would love these talks, even if they were in English. But they are not -- they are in Russian. And that is her secret strategy. You are not just getting an hour of conversation, you are getting much more. You prepare for the class - in Russian. You replay the conversation over and over in your mind after the class, in Russian, thinking what you wished you said, correcting the grammar - learning all the while. And the conversation never goes in the direction that I think it will, because it takes a natural flow through back and forth questions. She is genuinely interested in your perspective, and happy to share hers. I think this forces me to engage in a more natural Russian. Its something I look forward to and would do for the sheer joy of learning.
