Hello, My name is Sharlene! I am from the Netherlands. I was born in a city called Almere next to Amsterdam. I have lived here all my life until now. I love to read books. I am currently studying social work. I moved to Italy, at the feet of the alps. I am currently learning Italian and Portuguese myself. I know how frustrating it can be to learn a new language and I will help you every step of the way. Almere is a super multicultural city and I have always been exposed to different cultures and languages. Now it is my passion to learn and teach languages. I love dancing, learning about new cultures, cooking, nature, hiking, travelling and fitness. I also teach Dutch to refugees!Mostrar traducción

What helped me personally is to start reading and trying to speak the languages I am currently learning. We will have conversations in Dutch. We will read stories you like and talk about them. Sharlene is a very positive and patient teacher. She had me think about new phrase in a very encouraging way, and and she does not make you feel rushed. If you’re nervous about learning Dutch, she is a great teacher to talk to!
