I'm a 28-year-old native English speaker from Sudan. I'm energetic, humorous and curious and have a young spirit. I get along well with adults, teens and kids. Having lived and studied in 5 different countries by the age of 18, I grew fond of languages and different cultures. Since then, I've travelled a lot more and am in love with teaching as a means of learning about different cultures and generations. Hello! I'm Umiema from Sudan. I have excellent communication skills and enjoy teaching students of all ages and cultural backgrounds. I've taught young learners, IELTS and all levels of ESL both face-to-face and online. My approach to teaching is to make it fun and interactive so that students find learning enjoyable and are motivated to continue their English language journey and improve through consistency and practice. My teaching style is influenced by my student's age, desires and deadlines. I offer lessons aiding students with homework, give tutoring, conversation practice speech coaching lessons on culture, travel and many other common and niche topics. Over time I analyze how students respond to different methods of learning and incorporate more of their preferred methods into lessons. I pack lessons grammar, speaking, listening, reading and writing exercises and games, also giving students additional work. Tracking progress is vital therefore if requested, I will test students bi-weekly or monthly depending on their needs and feedback in given.Mi material didáctico

Online English teacherThis Position taught me how to nativigate online classes using virtual platforms. I taught students in over 5 countries and continue to do so currently. The approaching to teaching online is quite different to face-to-face classes and I've learnt to keep students engaged, educated and consistent online.

Umiema is great. She's working with my children and not just only takes good care of them during lesson time but also shares homework for their further progress.
I have worked with quite a few teachers for my children and hopefully I have found the last one, and we can stay with Umiema for a long time.
