Excellent teacher and makes a comfortable and fun learning environment

Learning Japanese with Kosuke has been an pleasant experience. He's cool and approachable, and patient when teaching. Instead of relying on textbooks, he focuses on teaching you how to speak naturally, just like a native speaker would - He also teaches you what Japanese people would say in certain scenarios that would commonly occur. Highly recommend!

Kosuke-sensei helped me learn how to tell apart ichidan and godan verbs, as well as how to conjugate them effectively. Then, combined them with particles to make basic sentences. In one lesson!! Thank you Kosuke-sensei! ありごと!

I’ve been taking lessons from Kosuke for a few weeks now, and can’t recommend him as a teacher enough. We normally work through conversations which is great practice for my speaking and listening, and since I’m still earlier on in my Japanese learning he’s been helping me go over my sentences along with teaching new grammar points to help me better get my ideas across in Japanese. He also goes over how native speakers might say things compared to what textbooks teach which is a useful comparison. He’s patient and explains everything well so like I said, would definitely recommend!
