Hello everyone! My name is Shei Natsuko, and I am trilingual 🔺 and multicultural 🇭🇰🇦🇺🇯🇵🇫🇷🇺🇸.
I’ve dedicated my life to teaching Japanese across various cultures and languages, with 20K offline and 8K online teaching experiences. I’m currently writing a book about the "Beginner Techniques" I’ve developed, which are beneficial both 🔌Technically and 🧠Psychologically:
In the first trail class, I can ping-pong your strangeness, weaknesses, what direction you should go, what tools you need, and how long it will take you to your goal, able to apply to BOTH self-study techniques and one-on-one scenario.
Let me also get your questions out of your way first:

Yo como profesor
1) HOW LONG TO TAKE TO BE FLUENT in Japanese?
- Language takes time to master. Frequently focused sessions leads to far better results than sporadic study without direction. For example, studying 2 hours a week yields much more progress than 1 hour. I'll guide you through both self-study and one-on-one approaches!
2) HOW OFTEN I SHOULD SEE MY SENSEI (Tutor)?
1 HOUR a week with a sensei for listening and speaking practice and 1 HOUR on your own for reading and writing is effective.
3) Can I Get Away Learning Kana/ Hiragana/ Katakana at the beginning? Yes, we can use ROMAJI (English alpha) to pronounce the word and write sentence for first 6 months or even longer.
Mis clases y método de enseñanza
🥹 Many beginners struggle with:
1. Learning Kana or Kanji
2. Wanting an easy start or just for fun
3. Too much grammar at once
4. Poor listening skills
5. Poor speaking skills
You’re in the right place! We can always adjust the learning order to fit your needs:
1. Start easy
2. Learn Kana spelling with Romaji (English letters) for grammar
3. A Technic to manage remembering vocabulary
4. A technic to manage forgettable vocabulary
3. Listen and watch to learn in Class, Reading and Writing on your own.
4. Copy, Speak, and Remember
5. Start with Anime-Style Japanese (Short/ Casual Forms: 食べる) instead of (Long-Forms: 食べます)
9. Learn Kana, Kanji, JLPT, etc., as needed on your own pace. 🈁
