Katla

Katla is an exceptional Danish teacher. She is very patient, always waiting for me to express myself, which greatly helps my output practices. Her detailed explanations and personal approach are also super helpful. I highly recommend her lessons for anyone wanting to improve their Danish.

After seven lessons with Katla I have found her to be an attentive, positive and hard working teacher. She is great at giving positive reinforcement and encouragement. She will both take into account her students wishes whilst also herself identifying things that need to be worked on. And she frequently checks in to make sure that I am happy and comfortable with the lessons. She provides interesting and engaging lesson materials which are often tailored to my requests and interests. She is also more than capable of improvising and answering unforeseen questions. All in all I think Katla is an excellent teacher and I would recommend her lessons wholeheartedly.

I've been practising Danish with Katla for almost a year and she has really helped me improve, both with my vocab/grammar but most importantly my confidence. She is great at creating a safe space where you don't feel embarrassed to make mistakes. I'd recommend her to anyone who wants to take their Danish to the next level!
