As a teacher, I can be strict if I have to, but I am basically a "chill" teacher. I make sure that my students are comfortable talking and studying with me.

My lessons and teaching styles vary from one student to another. I start with introductions, to make my students feel at ease. Then, I ask about their prior knowledge on the target language. If they are on the beginner level, then we start with a little background of the language, followed by greetings and their meanings. Second lesson with Light and more to come. Multiple ways of teaching has helped in finding the right style for myself. Her patience, understanding, and enthusiasm has brought me back to her lessons and will do the same for you. If you are looking for a proper, modern, and not stiff (textbook) way of speaking Tagalog, (even though she will show you examples of it if you ask) you don't need to look further. Light was very good with discussing goals and learning outcomes for lessons ahead, with a very energetic and relaxed nature.
