I was born and raised in Athens, Greece until I moved to California with my family in 2015. I go back to visit every year and spend lots of time with my beautiful people! Lots of my friends there are artists and know all the creative corners of the city. When you decide to visit Athens, you might discover its deeply rooted history side by side its modern undertones, which makes it so fun to walk around. I love dancing, reading poetry, podcasting, listening to my grandma's favorite traditional tunes, and making google maps lists of cool places in Athens, Puerto Rico, and Berkeley, where I live right now. I've taught dance for years and love watching people learn! When I teach my friends Greek, everyone ends up learning the words and phrases they would normally use in their own language...That way, when they speak in Greek, they sound like their genuine selves. That's the dynamic I love to create in a learning environment - helping you place yourself on the language you speak, so you have agency.Mis clases y método de enseñanza
Every lesson is personalized to the student. I want us to get to know each other as people in this learning process. Why do you want to learn Greek? Why is it important to you to learn another language? We explore the best ways that work for you in the long run, to make sure that you're taking actionable and consistent steps in engaging with the language. I like using improv theater to set up scenarios that help you understand the context of the words/phrases we use, and bring in music, food, and film recommendations.Mi material didáctico

Co-founder & Curriculum DirectorDesigned curriculum and taught Design Thinking to public high school teachers around the island. CDTIE is a non-profit organization I co-founded with a wonderful team, with the goal of empowering students to have agency in their education by training teachers to be vehicles of change in the classroom.

Tati is a fantastic teacher. She breaks down concepts into a way that is easy to understand and caters the lesson to you and your needs. She prepares you for real life conversations and has a strong understanding of sentence structure and grammar to help you succeed.
