I’m Norie. I live in Mie in Japan which is close to the sea. I like reading Manga and books, watching movies, and doing Yoga. Currently, I'm into Iai-do which is a kind of Japanese martial art.
I also like to learn languages. Now I'm learning English and French.

I come from Hyogo Prefecture, near Osaka. I finished university in Japan and worked as a nurse in Tokyo and Osaka. I also learned voice acting and announcing, and how to speak in a standard Japanese accent, even though I originally spoke in the Kansai dialect.
Back in university, I studied a bit of Chinese, so I know how tough it can be to learn a new language. Recently, I've been helping businesspeople learn English as a consultant.

As a Japanese teacher, my goal is to help students communicate politely using correct grammar. I also want them to learn the difference between chatting with friends and talking in a more formal way for business.
One of my students, who started as a total beginner, can now talk to customers using simple Japanese after a year of learning. They improved fast because they not only came to class but also did their homework.
I like talking while looking at faces without using many slides. Let's study together in a fun and friendly way. If needed or requested, I'll use slides to explain things clearly. Don't worry if you make a mistake in Japanese. I will correct and write in Google Docs.Mi material didáctico
