Hi there! My name is Sinéad ("Shinaid") and I come from Ireland. I have been teaching English for nearly 6 years and I have travelled to several different countries, working and exploring! I love to experience new places, and get to know about different cultures. I am currently living in Mexico, and learning Spanish. My hobbies include going for a cycle around the city, going to museums and art galleries, reading, trying new restaurants or cafes, hanging out with my adorable cat and spending afternoons painting.Mostrar traducción

I started teaching English to children in a Kindergarten in Berlin, Germany. I used games and play and a whole lot of interaction to create a fun learning environment for the children. I then worked in an English Institution in Santiago de Chile where I was teaching Business English to all different levels. I maintained my interactive teaching and made sure that the business English classes were always engaging and fun for my adult students. I also taught general English at the same time, focusing on topics that the students were interested in. In Mexico, I have taught both business and general English and teach online using many different materials. My students are always eager and engaged.Mis clases y método de enseñanza
Through my experience I have developed my skills and teaching methods greatly! I focus on each student's unique needs and cater my classes to suit them. If the student is lacking confidence, I will help them to practice a lot through conversation and build their confidence through fluency. When a student struggles with a particular grammar structure, we will work on that thoroughly through a range of activities. It's important to practice with grammar activities but just as important to practice using the grammar in speaking. My lessons are diverse, interactive and above else, fun!Mi material didáctico

Kindergarten English TeacherI taught children from ages 1- 6 years old, through a variety of teaching methods. For the younger children, I used play, interaction, music and art to teach them English. For the older children I used all the methods mentioned but also more structured lessons focusing on age appropriate material.

She is patient, amusing and a nice person to talk to. She prepared a lot of different funny games and questions so that there is always an interesting topic which one can talk about.
During the class she makes some notes und sends it afterwards for your self-study.
I really enjoyed the classes!

I highly recommend Sinead! Their lessons are always well-structured, engaging, and tailored to my needs. She creates a comfortable environment where I feel confident to practice speaking and make mistakes. Sinead is not only knowledgeable and professional but also very patient and encouraging. Each lesson is fun, and I always learn something new, whether it’s vocabulary, grammar, or cultural insights.
