My success lies in the good rapport and effective collaboration with my students. I approach every student individually and fashion a personalized language plan, which is interactive and fun. We try to find what works best regarding the student’s motivation, discipline and time management. I am here to listen to you and accompany you on your language journey and I am not afraid to share mine. I use authentic materials targeted at native speakers to bring you as close as possible to the real language. My students are encouraged to step out of their comfort zone and be creative. At the same time, I offer strong support in the form of linguistic explanations for grammar and vocabulary, so not only will you know how, but also why. My students take ownership for their progress and the emphasis lies on the active use of the language and the process of making it your own. Had great fun with Faustina during our lessons. I’m impressed by how deeply she knows the language and how clearly she can explain the grammar rules. 👍 My main problem is speaking, boy did we have a lot of that during our lessons. I sang songs, watched YouTube videos, and we discussed that at our lessons. And I also got extra pdfs for further practice. Over the two months of lessons I can say I’m not afraid to speak Dutch anymore. Thanks Faustina 🫶
