Herzlich willkommen,
I am Sophia, 31 years old and a native German tutor (currently studying to be a certified professional one) with a great passion for teaching languages, cultural exchange, travelling and personal growth.
I hold a master´s degree in ecology and love to be in the nature, especially to go bareback riding with my horse and care for animals. My other main interests are music, playing my electric guitar and reading books about personal development, philosophical and spiritual topics, psychology and Far Eastern teachings.

Yo como profesor
I have started teaching about a decade ago after I have finished my high school diploma, giving private lessons for students and adults mainly in English and my mother language German. Currently, I am studying to become a licenced professional German teacher.
I adjust learning pace, speaking speed and lesson structure towards the needs of my students. As I have learned French, English and a bit of Tagalog as foreign languages, I know all the challenges that go with it. Learning German is a complex task, but it is absolutely possible to master it! Ich habe mehrere Stunden mit Sophia verbracht und es ist mir ganz klar, dass sie eine echte Profi ist. Sie ist sehr klug, hat viele Erfahrungen erlebt, und daher hat die Fähigkeit über viele Themen zu sprechen. Ihre Energie bringt die Zeit dazu, im Flug vorbeizugehen, eine Tatsache, die bedeutet, dass ich tief in unser Gespräch reinkommen kann.

Sophia is a fabulous teacher, always well prepared for my classes and at the same time very flexible.
I like that she always try to speak only german with me and can quickly identify weak spots in my grammar.
She provides me plenty of useful materials.

Sophia is a great German teacher. She asks good questions and proposes interesting topics to discuss. Sophia is able to clarify and correct my grammar and vocabulary in a way that is supportive and doesn’t hinder our conversation. I highly recommend her.
