Another fine lesson with Neta. I have been noticing a sharp increase in my speaking capabilities within just a month just by finally getting speaking.
In this lesson we had some free talking at the beginning and then a reading exercise. I feel this is a good distribution of time as I don't have the level/energy to try to talk for 60 minutes in only Hebrew but by reading I still practice an aspect of Hebrew and learn something along the way.
I do not cover explicit grammar lessons like "now I will teach you the future tense" with Neta, but today we discussed the form of לרכוב vs. לרכב as marked by Pealim as being colloquial. It is useful that she is aware of the differences. Sometimes she says thing that strike me as being typical for native speakers trying to explain the rules behind their own language but which do not necessarily always work (as I would for Dutch in my own case). This may be good to pay attention to if you are looking for a grammar-heavy curriculum.
