I am a professional language teacher with 34 years of experience. I’m from England, but I have spent many years working as an English teacher in East Asia.
I have a BA (Hons) in Drama with Creative Writing and worked in professional theatre, including The National Theatre of Great Britain.
My hobbies are varied and I like learning new things. Right now, I’m into Thai cooking, AI technology, and ancient Egypt. I love to explore new countries, cultures, and wild places.

I am passionate about my career as an English teacher and enjoy nothing more than seeing my students improve their ability in English and build their confidence. I have 100% success in all exams and courses I have taught. I never let a student fail.
I take great pride in my lessons and always seek ways to develop my skills and abilities as a teacher. I am Cambridge CELTA qualified and have led teacher training courses.

Every lesson is different but the goal is always to encourage students to be productive. The time you spend with me should be used effectively. A calm and patient approach allows the student to gain confidence and improve communicative fluency.
Outside of the lesson, I will give you the tools and advice you need to study and learn efficiently. I can read written assignments in my own time and give advice at any time.
I aim to make my lessons interesting, fun, and an enjoyable social occasion. I have all the materials, activities, and tricks you could imagine.

The reason I chose my first trial with Sean was that when I saw his introduction video I think he is calm, patient, and polite. These are the qualifications I look for when it comes to choosing an English teacher. Our first lesson went well. He didn’t make me feel nervous at all. He took notes about my goal for practicing English and in our second class, he did certain research on my goal and try to help me achieving it. I’m impressed. For those who are looking for an English teacher, I would highly recommend Sean.

Sean's biggest advantage is that the lessons are fun and can be attended with a light heart. Even when the main topic changed in midway, he promptly delivers it like it was prepared lessons, It makes me clear that he is a seasoned expert.
