Mic Yukiko Murayama

Interesting lesson as usual. I can see that Yukiko-san is proficient in teaching; she is good at guiding students to think on their before giving them the correct answers. I enjoy this way of learning very much. Even if you get the answer wrong, you still learn a lot, compared to when you’re directly given the correct answer.

Yukiko is always preparing every lesson very diligently and manages to teach my various new grammar structures but also always give me room to try out speaking Japanese on my own! It's very helpful at the beginning of every lesson to have a chat with her. She listens very patiently to my words, corrects me and helps me find a more natural way of saying things. Yukikos lesson give me the feeling that I learn real Japanese instead of textbook Japanese taught in various learning books. Please consider Yukiko as your Japanese teacher, as well :) I am always looking forward to our great lessons and also, my Japanese has improved a lot ever since our sessions. Thank you!

Yukiko can explain difficult grammar rules and nuances in a way that I can understand with my limited japanese... always impressed!!!

I always really enjoy Yukiko sensei's grammar lessons. She always comes prepared and provides written grammar explanations with examples which are very helpful and easy to understand. Whenever I ask a question, she is ready to provide explanations with nicely organized notes and if not, she will ensure to get back to me with the answers. She also provides homework questions, and takes the time to check homework and provide any necessary extra explanations needed. Her lessons are awesome!

I shared with Yukiko-san my recent busy life. I’m happy that I was able to talk about most things in Japanese, though not very fluent nor accurate, but Yukiko-san is always so quick in getting what I want to say. That’s a real talent. After catching up, we continued with our textbook. Great lesson. Can’t wait for the next!

We started today’s class with a discussion on Japan’s and Taiwan’s autumn (happens to be moon festival today ☺️). And then we finished the text about paying visit to a friend—lots of useful phrases and expressions. Yukiko-san is really good at explaining nuances of words. I can be quite meticulous when it comes to words with similar but slightly different meanings, and Yukiko-san always provides satisfying explanations. Looking forward for the next lesson!
