Luis

I think this was the funnest first lesson I've ever had. Luis is super friendly, and you can tell he truly has a passion for teaching. I can't wait to learn more from him.

My first lesson with Luis went well! He explains grammar and contextual phrasing well, and I appreciate that he also makes time to incorporate etymology and history into the lesson. As someone who is not exposed to Spanish on a day-to-day basis, I also like that he focuses on the more practical side of Spanish.

Prepared is an understatement!! The fact that Luis uses everything he knows about a kid's joys and passions and then makes funny short videos to teach a new concept in a fun way -- mind blowing!! Today he had Ellen interviewing Chewbacca. I can't imagine there is a better teacher on this website. I highly doubt it!! Another great lesson!!

Luis is an excellent teacher with very clear pronunciation. We could not stop talking about everything :)

Actually I paid this class for getting information about tutoring in italki, not learning English. He told me about it in really nice way! It looked like he was so tired cuz it was almost midnight in his city, but I could see he tried to do his best to share his information. Thank you, Luis ! 😊
