I have been married to Paula for 20 years and we have two teenage boys. We moved to Spain six years ago and we are now used to the Spanish way of life! I was born in Southampton in the south of England and moved north in my thirties to live near Leeds in Yorkshire. I am keen on fitness and most sports like football. I also love the outdoors and water sports; I used to kayak a lot and competed in white water slalom competitions, as well as enjoying surfing. Yo como profesor
I have over 10 years teaching experience and I am Cambridge TEFL qualified to teach English. I specialise in teaching advanced English (B1-C2) for medical professionals, teaching and preparing them for the Occupational English Test (OET) . I also teach at a Cambridge English Academy here in Spain, preparing students for examinations.
Previously, I was a Business Development Manager in the medical industry for over 25 years, working closely with nurses and senior doctors and directors in NHS hospitals all over the UK. As a result, I understand how medical professionals work have an in depth knowledge of the healthcare system in the UK .Mis clases y método de enseñanza
If you are preparing for the OET your English needs to be a high standard. (B2/C1) If it is not good enough, I can plan a personal course to get you to the right level and coach you through the different requirements. I offer a free Placement Test which will show us what you need to improve. I use audio recordings to provide specific feedback for speaking, as well as official OET test papers for practice. My resources and lessons are fully interactive and include homework and corrections.
