Yo como profesor
My undergraduate major is computer application. After receiving my bachelor's degree, I have taught computer and engineering courses for 10 years, and won the teaching award at the highest level of the college. In 2005, after professional training in Jinan University, I switched my teaching to Mandarin Chinese, and successively conducted face-to-face Mandarin course in Vancouver and Greater Toronto, Canada. After a period of interruption due to family reasons, online teaching of Chinese has been resumed since 2017.
Mis clases y método de enseñanza
Since I have systematically studied the teaching method in North America and obtained the corresponding diploma, I have a better understanding that the life and cultural habits of English speakers. My Chinese teaching attaches great importance to the psychological feelings of them. The course plan and practice are implemented in a way that learners likes.
I hold the first level Mandarin certificate. My teaching pays more attention to the learners' pronunciation and conversation abilities. In Mandarin, diffrent tones have completely different meanings, right? You know it.

Can't say enough good things about the class. Lots of practice with words, pronunciation, history, etc., with lots of feedback. I can definitely feel the improvement every class.

Another great lesson. Plenty of practice with reading, speaking, listening. She provides specific feedback on areas to practice, as well. Great to have a patient teacher to make learning Chinese fun.

As always, a great lesson. She gives a great balance of listening, reading and speaking. I really appreciate that if she finds a specific pronunciation difficulty, she will focus on that with you, so you know what to work on. Helps my pronunciation a ton!

Another very helpful lesson. If she notices you make the same tone error or pronunciation mistake she will walk you through the pronunciation and let you practice. It helps me a lot with tough words. Definitely lots of chances to practice listening, speaking and reading.

Always get a lot of practice in class. I get to hear a native speaker and repeat, try reading sentences on my own and create my own responses. She also really helps with pronunciation and fine-tuning tough words for me.
