Hi I'm Ffi (pronounced like the English word 'fee'). I'm a native English speaker from Wales in Britain. I have been teaching on italki for over 3 years. I enjoy watching sports mainly football and badminton. I also like drawing/painting, making music and reading. I focus on improving spoken English which I believe can be done through everyday conversations and speaking about different topics. Regular practice can also help with accent reduction but I am a big believer that if it does not affect communication then accents are great to keep! I am happy to explain grammar points as best as I can but bear in mind I am not a professional teacher. I will offer corrections so you don't keep repeating the same mistakes and more natural phrase alternatives.Mis clases y método de enseñanza
Students must be over 18. (no children)
My classes are for intermediate and upwards. Not complete beginners.
The open slots on my schedule are the only times I am available.
No under 24 hour reschedules, this is italki's policy and mine.
Be aware that zoom is only for 30 minute classes.
I do not offer packages.
I do not set homework.
I do not teach multiple classes a day to the same student.
If you are late, I will wait for 5 minutes then ask that you send me a message when you come online.
The lessons are really for you to speak as much as possible so please be aware this is a class for improving your speaking skills.5.0

I really enjoyed my first conversational session with Ffi. She allowed me to speak most of the time, guiding the conversation with questions and suggesting more natural vocabulary and phrases when I struggled to find the right words. This approach seems highly effective for improving students' fluency and confidence in speaking.
