Sam has a British certification Diploma in Higher Education in Product Design, and coming from a creative background, he believes that learning English is made easier if the lessons are fun and interactive. Taught English as a foreign language in Central America, Italy and via online platforms.
Sam has worked with children and adults of all ages and varying levels, from A1
(beginner) through to C2 (proficiency level). He has worked in for various institutes from language schools in Central America to Public and Primary schools in Northern Italy. In addition to this, he has experience teaching business professionals and high end clientele including the recently crowned Miss Costa Rica 2017 who he helped to prepare for the Miss Universe competition.
With a background in Outdoor activity leading, his approach to learning is energetic and physical via use of TPR and visual imagery.Mis clases y método de enseñanza
Sam's style of teaching is very broad and empathetic. His friendly and approachable style has developed from his early experience as an instructor. This allows the students to feel comfortable in class.
He can adapt his teaching style to be suitable for all types and ages of students.

I have been studying English with a great teacher Sam, and I would like to say that he is a very talented teacher who helps me so much to improve my English grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Sam is professional and attentive. He always gives me advice on what should I do to improve my English level.
Moreover, he is a great person and it is always a pleasure to communicate with him. Owning to his teaching approach and personality, I love to attend his classes every time.
Sam is able to increase confidence and motivate to learn English, and I am pleased to recommend him to any student who wants to increase their level of English!

I booked a trial lesson for my 9-year-old son. Sam seems very good in dealing with children. They talked about daily routine and interests. He corrected patiently, writing down also the corrections. My child already understands well English, but I think that Sam would do very good with beginners too, because he's speak clearly and express himself with gestures. Thank you!
