I'm happy to talk about any topic, including religion and politics. I've been involved in education for over 30 years, working in the areas of conflict resolution and personal development. This work involves the use of therapeutic type English language.
I also teach psychological methods designed to help people deal with the emotions of conflict, loss, and grief. These methods focus on soft skills and particular types of English language usage.
In the past, I have been a full-time carer for a family member. I've also worked in community group settings in the UK, the Balkans, South America, Ireland, and Southeast Asia.Mostrar traducción

I teach advanced English to teachers and university students.
I have 30 years of experience teaching personal development, English language, and social sciences to mature students in community groups, and third-level academic settings.Mis clases y método de enseñanza
My style is very informal, using natural conversation. I try to help adult students build the confidence to speak English in formal and informal settings, including speaking at academic conferences and in PhD viva voce exams. A lot of my teaching involves giving support to university students who are studying overseas in the UK. Markus is very good at listening, interpreting and leading the conversation. He understands my problem and goal there and we were sharing thoughts and feelings. Although the first class is very casual, I think he has a good methodology and he gave specific suggestions. Our talk is enjoyable and I really learned from him.
