I've really enjoyed my lessons with Basak. Her teaching style is really intuitive and she does a really good job breaking things down. She's also very kind, personable and patient which helps contribute to a fruitful learning environment. I would highly recommend her.

Başak is a fantastic teacher to my 7yr old daughter who is trilingual (English, Dutch and now Turkish). I am Turkish and it’s really impressive to see how well her diction as well as vocabulary have increased in such a short amount of time. She even creates sentences on her own now and it’s such a delight to observe. Başak is also a wonderful person to interact with and she’s just so good with my daughter. I highly recommend her to anyone, young and old trying to learn Turkish!

Başak is the perfect teacher. She is structured, she has a good command of the material and she is patient and allows the student to make mistakes - with notes and corrections that can be studied after the lesson. Furthermore, Başak gives homework and is quick to correct texts outside of the lesson hours. For anyone who is serious about learning Turkish, Başak is the perfect choice.

I just finished having a Turkish language trial with Başak, and the experience was phenomenal. Compared to my first iTalki experience, this was night and day. Başak was incredibly prepared, providing materials to print out right away and offering clear, structured guidance. Her kindness and encouragement stood out to me, especially when she reassured me that mistakes are a natural part of learning. Her understanding approach made me feel at ease and more confident in my learning journey. She was ready to dive into the lesson from the get-go and even assigned homework to reinforce what we covered. I may continue with her; we shall see. I have one more trial with a different teacher, but overall, my session with Başak was excellent, and she has set a high bar! Teşekkürler Başak!
