Always happy to learn Cantonese with Kiny, she is very knowledgeable, very prepared and patient. Her classes are very engaging and she is very supportive. It is also useful that she is also fluent in Mandarin to explain similarities as my Mandarin skills are much better. Kiny is also available at short notice which I highly appreciate!

Today I had my first lesson with Kiny and I absolutely loved it! I’m really happy with how much vocab I picked up and how much speaking practice I got. The class dynamic was great too. I’m definitely sticking with her! I highly recommend her. If you’re looking for someone to learn Cantonese with, Kiny is the one!

Kiny is a great teacher who is very patient and gives the student plenty of space to speak and practice. I like her method of focusing on speaking and understanding. She is very well prepared for the lesson, providing suitable materials. Very enjoyable and I learned a lot due to her meticulous explanations of concepts.

Kiny suggested me to write down my travel experience to Beijing, which I found it really helpful. I am writing down something I myself experienced, it requires me to review and research. As my work schedule changes a lot, I much appreciate Kiny being flexible and patient with me.

I wish I could be able to check more teaching style boxes to show how much I enjoy her lessons! I am more than thankful for finding Kiny as my Cantonese teacher. She is patient, knowledgeable, encouraging and flexible. She has her own teaching materials handy, it is instructive and detailed. But she still is very flexible when I have specific requests that fit my goal. She types all words that I need improvement and share them with me along with the pronunciation after our each lesson. She is patient always, smiling. I don’t ever get discouraged speaking with her in full Cantonese even though I really don’t know much yet. I am confident that I will reach my goal with her being my teacher.
