Kelly is a nice and patient teacher. We had a fairly serious grammar lesson. First she explained the grammar concepts, then we went through lots of examples. She made me create my own examples, and when I was having difficulty, she gave many many more examples until the concept became clear enough that finally I could make my own. I enjoyed my grammar lesson with Kelly and she helped me improve quite a lot!

Kelly is a great tutor. She did a wonderful job challenging me at a level slightly above my own, which is exactly what any student needs to grow. She was very patient when I did not understand her. I particularly liked that she did not slow down her speech with me - if I asked her to repeat something (which I did, often), she would say it again exactly the way she said it before. She would repeat it until I could finally understand. I loved that, and it helped me feel like I might actually be able to understand a native speaker with a little more hard work lol. I hope to take more lessons from her in the future.
