Hello, it's Kana! I was born and raised in the northern part of Japan, Hokkaido where you can always see beautiful nature and eat delicious food. I love singing, traveling, taking photographs and talking with people about different cultures. I've been traveling around Europe with my partner since May 2024. I studied in Iowa, the US as an exchange student in 2016 and worked at a Japanese immersion camp program during the summer break. This experience made me realize how fun and wonderful it is to teach my native language, Japanese and share the culture.Mostrar traducción

I got qualified to teach Japanese in 2019 and I've been teaching Japanese to people in all over the world online and at a Japanese language school, so I know how to teach Japanese all in Japanese and I also can explain Japanese in English when it's effective. I'm always happy to answer any questions and help you fully understand.

I always enjoy taking lessons with Kana-sensei! The style and environment really encourages me to use grammar and vocabulary that I'm not fully confident with, allowing me to make mistakes and learn the corrections. Every lesson feels like it builds on top of the last and I can see my steady improvement under Kana's teaching as a result!

Kana sensei is a really fantastic teacher ! She prepares lots of extra practice to help you remember new grammar and vocabulary. My Japanese has improved so much since I started taking her classes, and I am much more motivated to study after class. Her lessons are really fun too, I always look forward to our lessons! I highly recommend ☺️

I’ve done about 30 lessons with Kana by now and I can tell you she is a really great teacher. She is great at explaining grammar, she easily adapts lessons based on my learning style, she encourages me with her positive attitude and I also get to learn fun details about Japanese culture. These lessons are definitely among my highlights of the week. Highly highly recommended!
