Bryndís Rún Hansen

Bryndis is an exceptional teacher. She is a skilled professional who provides clear guidance for learning Icelandic. Her teaching style makes the classes both easy and enjoyable while also being very enriching.

Bryndís is an excellent teacher, and was skillful in assessing my ability and needs while developing a lesson plan as we worked together. At the end of 30 minutes I felt much clearer in continuing with my independent language learning efforts. I look forward to our next lesson! Takk fyrir!

Bryndis listens patiently to one’s questions and makes helpful corrections, answers, and suggestions to one’s speaking and listening abilities. She also provides clear cut examples of Icelandic usage. Her practical knowledge of both English and her native Icelandic make her an excellent instructor.

Bryndis reviewed an Icelandic Christmas song, Jolin eru Okkar, verse for verse and I learned a lot of new vocabulary. This is a great way to learn versus rote memorization of words. She was clear in her explanations and answers to my questions.
