Aya

Aya-sensei is the best Japanese teacher that I have had the pleasure of learning from. She provides an environment that is fun and calming, but that is also structured in terms of the lesson and materials. I have also noticed that she puts in a lot of time to prepare for the lesson by providing direction afterwards in terms of homework and review. Her English language skills are also impeccable, so it is very easy to clear up any confusion with grammar or other complicated concepts. I am excited to take another lesson!

First official lesson with Aya sensei. Aya sensei is a Cambridge CELTA-qualified teacher who is very good at engaging students using well-graded questions. Her approach is highly student-centred, allowing me plenty of opportunities to practise listening and speaking.

I've been studying with Aya-sensei every week for over half a year now. I'm continually impressed with Aya-sensei's ability to always challenge me without making it too difficult or too easy. Progress is steady and I can sincerely recommend Aya-sensei to anyone who wishes to improve their Japanese.

I can already tell after one lesson that Aya-san is an excellent teacher. She helped to activate a lot of my Japanese knowledge and is helping me to review. I am already looking forward to our next lesson.
