¡Hola! I'm Paloma from Oaxaca, México. I'm an art therapist, interpreter and traveler. I started teaching Spanish and my culture first to my foreign friends who visited me and later on I partnership with a fotographer and made a tourism group for travelers with low cost trips, there's were I got curious about the world from meeting new people every week and began my traveling journey. Currently I live in the Patagonia, I moved here because I fell for the mountains and lakes but I still love to share about my México. I love doing ecotourism, trekking and camping, kayaking, trapece, reading tarot, growing my own veggies, writting, restoring, diy, making bread and building my house from 0! :DMostrar traducción

I'm a very friendly, outgoing and patient person. I love learning through conversation, I'm always making questions and curious about who my students are, using spanish as a tool to exchange mindsets, knowledge, experiences, culture and more.
If you're looking for someone to practice your conversational skills, I'm your perfect match!
I can teach you idioms, coloquial phrases and slang for your speech to be more natural, or if you're looking for a formal and diplomatic way, I can do that as well. I will also kindly point grammar mistakes on words, phrases or anything that could de missunderstood.

Usually, I'd like to focus on natural conversation as that's been a practical aproach I use myself to learn lenguages, we can do it by talking about daily topics, news, trends, hobbies, personal interest, etc. However, if you also'd like to study Spanish grammar we can use some sessions to improve this side of language. I encourage my students to make questions, not only about Spanish learning but Mexican/LATAM culture, or any other topic they're interested about. You will be able to reach me anytime of the day via Italki messages. (So you won't have to wait till our next lesson to ask questions!) :)

Muy muy muuuy bien! Paloma is so friendly! This was a wonderful introductory class and even though I have beginner Spanish, she managed to make me feel like we had a flowing conversation. Highly recommend and I look forward to many more classes with her.
