Iva

Speaking to Iva was a lot of fun and very productive. I learnt a lot of worthwhile language and grammar in order to express my self in the future. I recommend both of Iva’s classes, she’s truly an amazing teacher.

I’ve only been learning Korean from Iva for a month and I seriously can’t believe the progress I’ve made. Her lessons are well structured (with plenty of freedom to allow for natural conversation, too) and she is an outstanding communicator who can use Korean words I already know to explain concepts and vocabulary. If it weren’t for Iva, I would be nowhere near as confident in my speaking ability and would not feel as motivated to continue learning Korean. 이바 선생님, 저한테 잘 가르쳐 줘서 감사합니다!!

As always, Iva쌤 was prepared, patient, and purposeful with her lesson (the 3 P's). She can teach everyone from complete beginners to advanced learners. Her grammar teaching approach is great especially for intermediate learners looking to get over the "intermediate plateau". She is able to stick to Korean to explain concepts in simpler ways, without resorting to English. Highly recommend her grammar lessons!

Recently, I have come back to studying Korean after a hiatus. Iva has helped me get comfortable with speaking again. Not only have our lessons been very engaging, Iva has been very supportive in helping me regain my Korean skills. I can't thank Iva enough.

I have come back to take lessons with Iva after around a year. It was very easy to get back into talking and speaking Korean.

I had a good introduction lesson. We talked about what I need to practice and got a review of grammar and the things that I had questions about. She also provided slides of what we practiced and talked about so I can look back at them to study.
