Hellol everyone! This is Mahdi Birjandi, a Farsi (Persian) teacher on Italki. In the past the years, working as an interpreter & teacher of both Farsi & English connected me to people all around the globe. This is why I know the mutual gaps between Farsi & English.
I am into languages and it has become a part of my soul. currently I'm learning Turkish & Arabic and some day I will learn Chinese or Russian as one of my favorite languages. I think learning a language is a fun experience that that provides a lot of opportunities.Mostrar traducción

As an English/Persian interpreter and teacher, I came across many language learners who have difficulty speaking or hearing correctly. Fixing this problem is what I do!
In have helped many students to learn both languages (Persian/English). My main focus is upon conversation & fluency.

I will set lesson plans based on the demand of students, their learning styles, time, effort and energy. If the student don't want to learn Persian alphabet, I can Romanize for them. The materials I use are authentic. In each session, I'll hand in my pre-lesson notes, so the students will be familiar with the context. In the session, I may record their voice, so I can work on their accent. I will try to correct my students and give them hints. In most of my classes, I will share my desktop so the class is totally audio-visual. Finally based on the demand of the students, I can customize the lesson plan. After each class, I will send the post-class contents (short audio recording + docs).Mi material didáctico

Mahdi is a fantastic teacher. He's professional and prepared, takes my preferences into consideration when developing the lessons and provides follow up materials. During the lesson time, he's very patient - I'm a nervous speaker, and I never feel like I'm being rushed. He gives me space to ask questions and makes sure I'm understanding the answers. Highly recommend!

It is always a pleasure learning Persian with Mahdi. His energy and enthusiasm are hugely motivating, as is the rapid progress his teaching methods brings about. This is largely due to the huge effort he puts into preparing classes - from answering questions I come up with while studying between classes, to crafting homework and lessons tailored to my needs and about topics I am interested in.
