Yemina Nuñez

I always enjoy my lessons with Yemina. She is knowledgeable, interesting, patient and kind. She plans engaging and useful activities for the lessons, yet is flexible if I want to cover a different topic. She has given me the confidence to initiate conversations in Spanish with people at work, in stores and in restaurants.

Yemina, is my personal instructor going forward. She listened to me and instead of following her agenda she adjusted to my knowledge. I told her that I had an extensive vocabulary but lacked conversational practice. We did an exercise where she tested my knowledge and she was impressed. We already have our agenda set for the next two sessions. Thank you so much Yemina for actually listening and adjusting to me and what I wanted to get out of the session. Muchismas Gracias!!!

I love my time with Yemina! She is kind, patient, and encouraging. We have many things in common so we never run out of things to talk about. I would highly recommend for anyone who wants to improve their Spanish!

She is very good at explaining grammar. I really appreciate it. Also, she is very good at helping me with my pronunciation which I have a problem with, especially when it comes to longer words. She gives me the time to practice them. Also, I appreciate that she knows English, too, or I might be lost since I am not fluent in Spanish. Gracias. :)

Very helpful in learning grammar which I usually have a problem with remembering. Sometimes, she will explain it to me in English because they may seem so hard to understand in Spanish. Also, she gives me the time to pronounce words that I may have difficult in saying. But, the best thing is that she writes down what I said or what we learned, so I can use it for future use.
