I have been trying to learn Spanish for many years with limited success. I feel after taking the first lesson with Maria that I have found the person who is going to help me succeed in communicating in Spanish. She is easy to understand. Has lots of patience and is interesting to talk to. Muchisimas gracias Maria. Nos vamos pronto.

Maria had me watch El Pib on YouTube. We discussed how they celebrate the Day of the Dead in the Yucatán. I love that I’m learning more about the cultural, and how other people think.

She fosters a supportive environment, encouraging students to practice their speaking skills with confidence.
