I've had several Spanish teachers on Italki, but Jahdai is certainly the best. He gives excelent examples, is well educated and near native level of English, and he is dependable. Because he is well versed in several languages, he has gone through the challenge of learning new languages several times. He also is able to pick up on how you like to learn. Overall, wonderful teacher and I would definitely recommend him!

Hello Spanish learners! You can stop searching for your tutor right here. Jahdai is a fantastic teacher! I've taken many classes with him so far and my level of understanding and ability to converse have skyrocketed since i started studying with him. He's a language learning enthusiast so he really connects with students and understands their process of learning. He has near-native English so there's no lack of clear explanations that I need when I struggle with a difficult concept or gramatical construct. He's very patient and makes his classes enjoyable. Jahdai is not my first Spanish tutor but he will be my last! Do yourself a favor and book a lesson with Jahdai today!

I’ve taken many lessons with Jadhai already and he’s a master at asking the right questions. In other words, he is good at naturally inciting me to talk more freely and fluently all the while discussing things he knows I will want to talk about. He definitely makes me feel comfortable speaking (/making lots of mistakes). I also like that he keeps what we discuss in a google doc that I can review afterwards. His English is excellent and he has good tips for speeding up the learning process.

I have always fought with a learning disability. Jay has taken extra time to come up with creative strategies that address, my needs.

Excellent teaching style, makes me feel empowered in my learning. I like his use of Google doc, which he continues to add every time we have a lesson. He is able to communicate in many languages (one of the reasons I chose him was because he also spoke French in addition to English and Spanish).
