Not only are these lessons filled with enjoyment and inspiration, but Alexis is also a miracle worker! I met him as my first tutor only 3 weeks ago, and even in this very short time, he has already given me the tools and strategies I need to thoroughly and successfully prepare for my upcoming DELF B1 exam. I had originally signed up for the exam last month as a personal challenge, but then I quickly panicked when I realized I had no idea about how to actually prepare. Alexis to the rescue! In just these few lessons, he has broken everything down for me, given me real-life strategies for each part of the exam, and guided me through many practice simulations so that I will know exactly what to expect on the exam day. Instead of feeling overwhelmed as I did before, I now feel organized, disciplined, and calm about how to prepare each task, step by step. I still have a month left in my studying, but my readiness and confidence is growing by the day, all thanks to Alexis.

I have been working with Alexis for over a year and a half and it has been an absolute pleasure. I've tried so many teachers over the years but what makes Alexis stand out is not only his skill in tailoring lessons precisely to your needs, an overall great human to relate with. With him, I've learned more than just the French language but also a lot about integrating in a new country, art, politics, etc. He is really motivating and inspiring to constantly do better each time.

Alexis challenges me to be my best, every class, every time. He is always well-prepared. He takes notes, provides a written summary after class, and anytime I'm struggling during class, he takes the time to make sure that I understand the concept before moving on. He's created an extensive library covering virtually every aspect of grammar, and can instantly share a document to assist my mastery of the language. To top it off, he's a genuinely caring human being. Alexis has my highest recommendation.

It’s been 2 years since I first took Alexis’s class. I’ve learned more than just French with him. We exchange opinions on a bunch of interesting topics. He always has good references and recommendations for me to dig deeper after the classes. The classes are generally well organized and very efficient. It’s always been very impressive to see him pulling up a bunch of materials or grammar explanations in a blink. Plus, he’s creative, energetic and very patient. I appreciate him a lot for accompanying me on my French learning journey. Highly recommend for anyone who values efficiency and professionalism!

Alexis est un enseignant merveilleux! He has really helped me improve my French in all areas—speaking, reading, and writing. Alexis’ lessons are the perfect balance of structure and freedom. He frames each lesson with a specific grammar topic, but incorporates conversation into everything. His note-taking system is especially helpful for comprehension because it allows one to see all the concepts and exercises on paper (and then Alexis provides these notes to the student after the lesson). I also appreciate his patience and flexibility. I highly recommend Alexis for taking one’s French to the next level!
